Digital identity and transaction management solutions Company eMudhra today announced that it is now an Executive Member of the Cloud Signature Consortium (CSC), making it the first Indian company to be a part of the Cloud Signature Consortium. The Cloud Signature Consortium is a group of industry and academic organizations committed to building a new standard for cloud-based digital signatures that support web and mobile applications and comply with demanding digital signature regulations in the world.
The 20-member organisation based out of Brussels, works to bring together leading players in the industry to effectively simplify and streamline the digital signing experience on the cloud, and includes companies like Adobe, Digicert and Safelayer. eMudhra is one among ten executive member companies of the 20 member strong consortium, recognised for its efforts in increasing the adoption of digital signatures in India and across the world. eMudhra works with over 500 large enterprises including 45 banks to deploy proprietary solutions targeting niche areas such as paperless office, identity and access management, public key infrastructure among others. It is a licensed Certifying Authority under Ministry of Information Technology, India and has issued digital signatures to over 40 million customers in India.
