Digital signature firm eMudhra is looking to grow its international operations while simultaneously moving beyond authentication solutions and focus on digital transformation and cyber security products. “We already have operations in the Middle East, Far East and Africa, and are in talks to start operations in the US. We are focused on setting up the ecosystem in 38 countries through channel partners and have direct offices in six countries,” V Srinivasan, chairman, eMudhra told ET.
At present, international business comprises about 10% of the company’s revenue – Rs 80 crore last year – and Srinivasan expects this to grow to 50% over the next few years.
This would be led largely by new offerings like a certifying authority solution, blockchain-based smart contracts and SSL certification. Srinivasan said eMudhra would remain focused on the digital transformation (IoT) and cyber security space.
After using an external certifying authority product, eMudhra has now developed its own product that allows companies – or countries – to set up their own private certifying authority.
